Cricket Betting is one of the easiest forms of betting to pick up as there are so many different types and levels of wagering that it is possible to be able to bet on every possible form of cricket that you can think of. Whether you choose to focus on regular T20, Twenty20, First Class, International, County, One-day Internationals, Tests, ODIs or any other variation of the game, there are plenty of ways to wager on it.
Match Betting – This is probably the most popular form of cricket gambling. The aim is to accurately identify which team will win an individual match, usually a One Day International or an international match within a series, in an international tournament or an ongoing series challenge. For example, if there are three One-day Internationals and the first two matches have the same score, the team that wins the third match will be given the win and the tie is broken and there is then a chance of a final.
Over Betting – When you bet too much for the particular form of the game that you are considering, you are risking losing the money that you have already wagered on it. If a team loses a cricket match, they lose their initial wager. Even if you are confident that the team that you have selected for your cricket bet is going to win, if it happens that they are beaten by another team then you will end up with no winnings at all.
Under Betting – It is possible to win more than what you have initially bet in this type of betting. If a player scores a century and a hundred in an ODI but a further 100 runs later, you may have over bet your odds and should lose your money. However, even when you have over bet your odds, you could still end up winning your bet if you have selected a few key players, who are particularly good at hitting a century, or a couple of batsmen who are particularly good at hitting hundreds.
No Win – If you are unable to get your money back on any of your bets, the bet is said to be a “No Win”. If a team is able to win a match but loses its wager, they have to pay their money back. There are some countries which do not allow you to bet on matches that you do not have access to live. so if you do not live in the country where the game is played, you cannot bet on it.
Cricket betting is a good way to make money but just like in almost all other forms of gambling, it takes work to be successful with cricket betting. If you are going to bet on cricket, you need to make sure that you understand all the rules before making your decision and that you know your odds.
